It enshrines Ono no Michikaze, a calligrapher from the Heian period. There is a well of famous water known as "Wako water", and it is said that calligraphy will improve if it is used for inkstone water. It is in the middle of the Takagamine Highway, which was one of the important highways leading to Wakasa, and I feel like I will improve if I can walk.
